• Philip Maguire
    Chief Executive Officer

    Philip is the founder and CEO of I.T. Alliance Group, and an acknowledged leader in outsourcing and IT services. Since 1997 he has grown the company’s offering and profitability by marrying a large flexible employee base and solid industry partnerships with companies like HP, IBM and Microsoft. I.T. Alliance currently employs in excess of 230 people with the additional flexibility of a contract base of 220. Though headquartered in Dublin, I.T. Alliance’s capabilities have influenced projects in the US, South Africa and the Far East. Philip encourages an entrepreneurial ethos and encourages the use of technology to facilitate better working practices within the company. He attributes much of his own success to these factors and the company’s strong industry alliances. Philip is a member of the Institute of Engineers of Ireland, and has a BSc in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Trinity College, where he was awarded the John Goodman Prize for the best graduate on the programme. The Irish Management Institute also presented him with the Charles Harvey Award in 1991.

  • Hilary Hough
    Non Executive Director

    Hilary was formerly with Bank of Ireland Group where he held a number of senior management positions including Head of Group Public Affairs, Head of Small Business Lending and Managing Director of its Consumer Finance and Leasing Subsidiary. A Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant, Hilary is a former president of ACCA Ireland, and a fellow of the Institute of Bankers in Ireland and the Marketing Institute of Ireland. He is one of the few Irish graduates of the Smaller Business Management Programme at the Harvard Business School and has written and lectured extensively on small business and other management issues in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the Far East. He currently lectures in accounting and finance on the MBA programme at Trinity College and at the Irish Management Institute. He is also a member of the faculty at Management Centre Europe, the European arm of the American Management Association where he runs finance programmes for senior executives in large European and multinational companies.

  • Terence O'Donnell
    Non Executive Director

    A leading figure in Ireland's project management world, Terence has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. Until 2005 he was Director of the Centre for Project Management at the University of Limerick (UL) where he developed and directed a range of project management programmes for industry up to Master's level. He continues to work with UL in a consultative capacity and supervises MBA, MPM and PhD research candidates. Terence has lectured extensively on designing and delivering project management programmes in UL, IT Tallaght, DCU, DIT & UCD. Terence has published a series of articles on various project management topics in both practitioner and academic journals. He also set up the only annual project management conference in Ireland; an initiative he continues to support. He previously worked for five years at Compaq/Digital as International Project/Programme Manager. Prior to this, he worked for four years as Project Manager with the North Eastern Health Board. Terence holds a BSc from University College Dublin, and a Masters in Project Management from the University of Limerick. He was a founding member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Ireland Chapter and is a past president of the Chapter.

  • Joe Peppard
    Non Executive Director

    Professor Joe Peppard holds the Chair in Information Systems at Cranfield School of Management and is Director of the School's Information Systems Research Centre and IT Directors Forum. He has previously worked with I.T. Alliance and helped to establish its innovative tier-two service alliance (T2SA) outsourcing model. He is European Editor of the prestigious Journal of Information Technology and an Editorial Board Member of European Management Journal. He has published widely in academic, general business and management journals and his most recent books include "Strategic Planning for Information Systems" and "Customer Relationship Management: Perspectives from the Marketplace". His book "The Essence of Business Process Re-engineering" was translated into Chinese, having already appeared in Spanish and Polish editions. Professor Peppard is also a Director of Fineos Corporation, a solutions provider to the global financial services industry.

  • Kevin Dennis
    Head of Service Delivery

    Kevin is the Head of Service Delivery of I.T. Alliance with responsibility for all managed services across the UK and Ireland. Kevin currently manages a team of delivery managers providing services to multiple Tier 1 clients, managing and supporting the clients SLA and delivery expectations. Many of these services are long term engagements with a trusted relationship built between the client and I.T. Alliance delivery teams over many years. Kevin has worked in Service delivery since 2009 and has been in the IT industry since 1998, working in technical consulting and support over a wide range of infrastructure technologies with both commercial and public sector clients. Kevin graduated with a degree in Electronic Engineering started his career as an electronic design engineer, developing telecommunications test systems. He then moved into IT initially working on the delivery of ERP systems for major manufacturers.
