Dublin, Wednesday, 11th February, 2015: I.T. Alliance Group has announced 100 job vacancies ahead of its attendance at Career Zoo in the Convention Centre, Dublin on February 21st. The jobs reflect demand across three sectors of the economy: I.T. multinationals; the corporate sector and companies moving to cloud computing.
“We have noticed a significant increase in demand as a result of growing business confidence since the summer,” commented Dara Mullen, Director, People & Talent, I.T. Alliance Group. “Many companies are now moving ahead on I.T. projects which had previously been shelved because of the downturn.
“This is reflected in the fact in 2015 companies are looking to hire I.T. teams rather than one or two contractors as was the case this time last year. For the first time since the financial crash of 2008, we are also seeing more buoyancy in rates for specific contractors.”
Mullen added that the group’s vacancies were a good snapshot of current demand in the market as the company served customers across three sectors of the economy: large technology multinationals through its core project and services outsourcing business; the corporate sector in general through its I.T. resourcing division and the growing cloud market through its Auxilion subsidiary.
Commenting on particular skills that were in demand she referred to cloud architects, programme managers, SharePoint, .NET, Java and technical architects. (See table)
I.T. Alliance Group, one of the largest indigenous I.T. companies in Ireland, has a workforce of 500 people. Operating internationally, the group delivers I.T. managed services, I.T. consultancy and I.T. services exclusively through the world’s leading outsourcers.
In September 2011, the company launched its I.T. contracting wing, I.T. Alliance Resourcing Services, which provides temporary contractors, permanent placements and executive search services for a range of positions from project managers to CIO/CTOs.
In 2012, the group launched Auxilion (www.auxilion.com), an international cloud transformation and cloud computing support company, which now employs 50 people.
