I.T. Alliance has a long track record of successful PC deployments in both the public and private sectors. The experiences gained over these projects enabled ITA, together with our Tier 1 alliance partner, to develop a technical and logistics solution that found favour with a large government department.
Over the coming months ITA teams of logistics planners, engineers and support personnel will be deploying over 3,000 new PC's while ensuring the environmentally friendly disposal of the replaced equipment. Additionally, a back office team of MS SCCM, Active Directory, application packaging and security specialists will be supporting the migration of users to a standardised desktop.
Significant licensing and support savings are expected as the sites move to this standardised and centrally managed build.
