Philip is the founder and CEO
of I.T. Alliance Group, a leader in outsourcing and
localisation testing services. Since 1997 Philip has grown
the company’s offering and profitability organically through
a large flexible employee base and solid industry
partnerships with companies like HP, Novell and Microsoft.
I.T. Alliance currently employs in excess of 230 people and
has the additional flexibility of a contract base of 220.
Though its offices are in Dublin, IT Alliance’s capabilities
have influenced projects in the US, South Africa and the Far
East. Philip encourages an entrepreneurial ethos and
encourages the use of technology to facilitate better
working practices within the company. He attributes much of
his own success to these factors and the company’s strong
industry alliances.
Philip is a member of the Institute of Engineers of Ireland,
has a BSc. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Trinity
College, where he was awarded the John Goodman Prize for the
best graduate on the programme. The Irish Management
Institute also presented him with the Charles Harvey Award
in 1991. From 1991 to 1994 he was Managing Director of
Elequip Process Systems, a UK Industrial Control and
Automation company. |
