John is a business focused
technologist with extensive international experience of
delivering complex multi disciplinary programmes of work
encompassing design, build and run.
John has worked with numerous large organisations on pan
European and Global solutions encompassing application
development, out sourcing and data centre consolidation. He
is a highly skilled Programme Manager and Strategist
combining business and technical competence, political
astuteness and excellent communications skills.
John joined I.T. Alliance in
October 2006 and is currently responsible for the
development and realisation of the groups corporate
strategy.
Prior to this he spent 10 years as a Programme Director with
GFT Technologies AG, a pan European systems integrator. Here
he managed a number of significant programmes of work for
companies such as Deutsche Post World Net, Daimler Chrysler
and Deutsche Bank.
From 1995 – 1998 he set up and managed an international
software development centre focusing on cross platform
application tool development launching a number of
successful products supporting application portability
across Windows, UNIX and OS/2.
From 1985 – 1995 he work for the Project Management Group,
where he was responsible for software and product
development. During this time he was involved in the
functional and technical design and coding of solutions. He
led numerous engagements across the manufacturing, services
and financial services sector.
John has co authored a book on project management and has
published numerous articles on various project management &
IT topics in the trade press.
John has a BSc in Computer Application from Dublin City
University and is married with five children. |
