Hilary was formerly with Bank
of Ireland Group where he held a number of senior management
positions including Head of Group Public Affairs, Small
Business Lending and was the Managing Director of its
Consumer Finance and Leasing Subsidiary.
A Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant, Hilary is a former
president of ACCA Ireland, fellow of the Institute of
Bankers in Ireland and the Marketing Institute of Ireland.
He is one of the few Irish graduates of the Smaller Business
Management Programme at the Harvard Business School, and has
written and lectured extensively on small business and other
management issues is Ireland, the UK, Europe and the Far
East.
He currently lectures on accounting and finance on the MBA
programme at Trinity College and at the Irish Management
Institute. He is also a member of the faculty at Management
Centre Europe, the European arm of the American Management
Association where he runs finance programmes for senior
executives in large European and multi national companies.
